Tuesday Magic Item – Moon Bow

Gollaon watched as the young archer waxed their bow. “Do you think they know what they have?” they asked their friend quietly.
Voddick took a puff on his pipe. “I am sure they realize it is special but not why.”
“That may be for the best, some consider such items ill-omened,” said Gollaon.
“And they may not be entirely wrong.”
Moon Bow
Made of simple white yew, polished and sanded to erase any imperfection. They have a faint glow under the stars that gets brighter in moonlight. It cannot be strung except by its owner, which can be the cause of hours of amusement.
The moon bow is +1 long bow, under the stars, it is a distance weapon, and in moonlight, the arrows gain an additional +1 to attack and inflict 1d6 points of light damage along with its normal damage.
Any damage to the bow heals at the rate of one hit point per minute in direct moonlight.

The moon bow is a magic long bow that gives the wielder +1 to hit and damage under the stars, it is has a range of 300/900, and in moonlight, the arrows gain an additional +1 to hit and inflict 1d6 points of radiant damage along with its normal damage.
Any damage to the bow heals at the rate of one hit point per minute in direct moonlight.

Not as useful in the Sea of Stars as moonlight is comparatively rare.
